Dodge has taken wraps off the 2020 Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody, which comes with some differences from the standard version. It can be deciphered easily that the new variant with Widebody kit has a more prominent appearance.

The kit makes the car 89 mm wider and as a result, the car can get wider wheels. There are three style options for the 20x11 inch wheels. The wider the wheels, the more amount of grip in the roads. Thanks to the wider wheels, the car is able to pull 0.96 Gs on the skidpan.

Speaking of the oily bits, 2020 Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody is equipped with a 6.2-litre Hemi V8 engine, which is capable of providing a maximum power of 707 PS. The power is sent to the rear wheels via a TorqueFlite 8-speed transmission.

Starting from nil, the 100 kmph sprint is done in just 3.6 seconds and the car can achieve a top speed of 315 kmph. It is around 13 kmph slower than the standard version as the widebody comes with the bulkier aerodynamic profile.

As for the suspension, 2020 Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody comes with the same Bilstein three-way adaptive dampers, while the springs are replaced by much stiffer items. The driver has to grip the revised electronic power steering system, and there is an 8.4-inch infotainment screen too.

The widebody version retains Launch Control and Line Lock from the standard variant. While there are also two new systems, Launch Assist system, and Race Cooldown mode.

Moreover, the manufacturer has also confirmed that Charger Hellcat Widebody can also wear the Charger Scat Pack if the buyer does not find his/her taste in performance.
