2020 Renault Koleos introduced, to start at $32,490

Renault has uncovered the updated 2020 Koleos. And, while the SUV brings some welcoming changes, it has, however, missed out on a diesel-fed motor for the 2020 model. Something else that has also changed is the price of the SUV, which is now $1,500 more than the previous price tag. Speaking of the major changes that the SUV comes sporting on the outside, we can see a fresh set of alloy wheels, new LED fog lamps, brand-new skid plates, and revisited chrome accents.

But that is not all, though. The  Renault Koleos will now be available in a new red paint scheme as well. As far as the different variants of the 2020 Renault Koleos are concerned, the SUV will be offered in a total of 3 trims, including Life, Zen, and Intens. Starting with the entry-level "Life" variant, this particular trim will retail at $32,490 excluding the on-road costs. The equipment will comprise of dual-zone climate control, rain-sensing wipers, 17-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlamps, and a 7.0-inch R-Link infotainment touchscreen that will come boasting both Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity. Moreover, the safety features will include some high-end stuff like autonomous emergency braking and lane-departure warning.

Moving on to the "Zen" model, the mid-range trim of the SUV will bring along the likes of keyless entry/start, heated front seats, leatherette upholstery, electronic parking brake, Renault key card, large 18-inch alloy wheels, front & side parking sensors, electrically adjustable driver's seat, and the same R-Link infotainment system as the "Life" trim, albeit with voice control. As for the pricing, the "Zen" trim of the 2020 Renault Koleos will set you back by $35,990 before on-road costs.

Then it is the 2020 Renault Koleos "Intens" that is priced at $42,990. However, just in case you want to experience the luxury of an all-wheel-drive, the price will read $45,990. Note that these prices are also "before on-road costs". Coming on to the peculiarities and creature comfort present on the "Intens" trim, the SUV is bolstered by the presence of a dashboard with woodgrain accents, powered tailgate, leather upholstery, vertically-stacked 8.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bose surround sound, heated & ventilated front seats, 19-inch alloy wheels, and much more.

On the mechanical front, all three variants of the 2020 Renault Koleos will be powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that is capable of generating 171 hp of maximum power and a peak torque of 226 Nm. The power is then transferred to the wheels via a CVT. The 2020 Renault Koleos will arrive with a five-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty alongside five-year roadside assistance and capped-price servicing.
