2020 Hyundai Ioniq pricing and specs revealed

An official press release was issued by Hyundai Australia today mentioning the details of the updated Ioniq lineup. The firm quotes, "2020 Ioniq features a new dashboard boasting premium soft-touch finishes, ambient lighting in Premium and Electric versions, and a new, tablet-style multimedia unit.”

Hyundai Ioniq front

The model gets the refreshed local chassis which is designed to deliver a supple, refined ride and a consistent drive experience across all the engine options. The new exterior styling features consist of new LED lights at both ends in Electric and Premium models, redesigned bumpers and accents, and revised alloy wheel designs. The available color options are Polar White, Intense Blue, Iron Grey, and Fiery Red.

If we talk about the Hyundai Ioniq engine specs, nothing much has been changed. The only thing to be noted here is the inclusion of upgraded 38.3 kWh battery pack and the electric motor in the Electric model which is capable to churn out 136 PS of power and 295 Nm of torque. The uprated battery pack offers an impressive range of 373 km on the old NEDC regime as compared to the current model’s range of 293 km. On the WLTP cycle, the firm claims the range of 311 km.
