Audi gives SQ7 TDI a mid-cycle update, will arrive by 2020’s first half

Premium German automaker, Audi has taken the wraps off the facelifted SQ7 TDI, which will launch by the first half of 2020. It is a mid-cycle update for the flagship SUV, which gets a lot of feature enhancement and provides a fresh look.
Designing-wise, the car has witnessed one of the biggest changes ever. The new SQ7’s grille and bumper have now become chunkier than before. The headlights are reworked and get the LED detailing. Coming to the rear, there are new graphics for the taillights, and the diffuser and bumper receive some updates as well. The SUV will ride on a new alloy wheel design, and the wheels measure 20-inch, covered by 285/45 tyres.
Stepping inside the car, there is a new version of Audi’s Virtual Cockpit featuring the brand’s latest dual-screen infotainment system and a head-up display as a part of it. Other cabin highlights include configurable air fragrances, ionisation, ambient lighting, power soft-close doors, four-zone climate control, and a Bang & Olufsen 3D Advanced Sound System.
The new Audi S17 comes equipped with a 4-litre twin-turbocharged oil burner, which is capable of pumping out a maximum power of 429 hp along with a peak torque of 900 Nm. It takes just 4.8 seconds to complete the sprint between 0 to 100 kmph mark. It can achieve a top speed of 250 kmph.
As for the braking, 2020 Audi SQ7 TDI comes with 400 mm discs at the front wheel, while the 370 mm unit stops the rear wheel. The discs feature red or black callipers. To reduce the stopping distance further, there is an option to upgrade it to carbon-ceramic brakes.
