Interior styling is top-notch, layered with supreme quality material, finishing and inlays. Matching Audi’s premium styling, the sport front seats are wrapped in fine Nappa leather upholstery. The custom options on the inside allow customers to choose from either a black leather upholstery with red stitching or in Express red leather with express red finishing around air vents for a sportier look. Door armrests and knee pads are also finished in appointed mono leather which complements well with leather upholstery on electrically adjustable front seats with heated function. An interior lighting package with reading lights in front & rear, foot-well lighting, illuminated cup-holders in front and luggage compartment lighting is standard. Keeping practicality in mind, Audi has created smart storage points in the cabin; the storage nets on the back of front seat backrests and in the front-passenger footwell offer a convenient place to keep things while on the go. The highlight inside remains Audi’s smart interface that connects with iOS and Android devices through USB and provides access to approved apps via the MMI system. A 10-speaker, dash-mounted audio system and Audi’s virtual cockpit with digitalized instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch high-resolution colour display are part of the pack. Another vital feature inside is Audi’s MMI navigation plus with MMI touch which includes a 7-inch high-resolution display, voice control system, etc. 

Audi offers a wide range of personalization with Audi S3 Sportback including the three optional packages-S performance package 1, S performance package 2 and Assistance package. These additional kits can be availed as per customers’ preference for an extra premium. First up, the S performance package 1 comes with 18-inch alloy wheels in 5-twin-spoke-star design featuring partly polished finishing. Larger 19-inch alloy wheels in 5-twin-spoke-star design, wrapped around 235/35 tyres is part of the S performance 2 packages. 

As a standard fitment, the S3 Sportback gets 18-inch alloy wheels in 5-parallel-spoke design with 225/40 tyres, space-saver spare wheel and tyre pressure monitor. Talking of the Audi S3 Sportback colour choices, it comes with two no cost paint schemes-Brilliant Black and Ibis White. Other optional shades are Vegas Yellow, Florett Silver, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Nano Grey, Navarra Blue and Tango Red. Save for the Vegas Yellow option, rest of the colours are available in a metallic finish. Additionally, there is a choice of two crystal effect and a single pearl effect exterior paint. The suspension set-up absorbs most of the adulations, ensuring a smooth ride. Also, the steering unit is smooth and responds well, making it easy to handle. 

The Audi S3 Sportback specifications include a single 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine with direct injection technology and a turbocharger. This four-pot unit makes 213kW between 5,400 to 6,500 rpm and 380Nm torque between 1,850 to 5,300 rpm. Audi’s quattro set-up is standard on both six-speed manual and seven-speed S tronic gearboxes. Acceleration time taken to sprint from 0 to 100km/h is 5.4 seconds for manual and slightly less at 4.8 seconds for the S tronic auto box. Top speed for both manual and automatic versions is the same at 250km/h. Also, the Audi S3 Sportback fuel consumption varies slightly for the manual variant at 14.08 kmpl opposed to the automatic version at 15.15 kmpl.
