The automaker fancies its latest addition to the industry via its unique blend of a compact SUV dubbed C-SUV, set to hit the roads by 2022. With an all-electric powertrain that tends to deliver an impressive head start speed at a low cost of ownership, the car will be offered to the customers in two different lithium-ion battery setups.

TOGG’s electrical offering is said to offer a maximum power of 200 hp in its standard configuration. However, the buyers seeking for more power under the hood will have the option of paying extra for a 400-hp variant. Out of the two trim offerings, the smaller option is bound to deliver a mileage of 186 miles while the larger battery offering shall deliver 300 miles per charge.

TOGG confirms the vehicle to come accompanied with fast charging options that will allow the C-SUV to reach 80 percent charge in 30 minutes, indicating recharge rates of over 150 kilowatts. The suspension of the vehicle is handled by MacPherson struts in front and integral-link independent suspension at the rear, over a platform that is fully developed in-house by TOGG engineers.

Moreover, the vehicle is said to feature an advanced driver assistance system that will enable Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities, as per statements by TOGG. For an enhanced riding experience, the car will also include a Slow Traffic Pilot function. The architecture of the vehicle will also enable the user to perform seamless transitions towards autonomous driving Levels of 3 and beyond, applied via the platforms over-the-air technology.

However, TOGG’s introduction to the Australian market cannot be estimated as of now, but we can hope the car to hit the markets by mid-2022, at the earliest.
