BMW is preparing a newer model of the 6 Series Gran Turismo for the 2020 model year with a new front end. The current car can be considered a roomier version of the 5 Series with a liftback. It competes against similarly priced variants of the Audi A7 and the Mercedes CLS. There are 4 trims including the M Sport variant, however, even the base model comes equipped with an active rear spoiler and an automatic tailgate, leather seats and a 6.5” infotainment screen with iDrive. There are three engines on offer here including a diesel. The engines range from a 2L 4 cylinder making 190 kW and 400 Nm of torque to a 3L 6 cylinder making 250 kW and 450 Nm of torque. It can be had with either rear-wheel drive or AWD but the transmission is limited to an 8-speed automatic. Prices start from $ 192900.
