A fine package overall
It has been years since I bought the Ford EcoSport as our family car. The compact crossover has served the purpose quite well. I do not have any complaints regarding the looks, but the engine and the transmission could have been more refined. The engine is somewhat sluggish and the gear knob has this vibration that annoyed me in the beginning but I have got used to it. Another issue is the rattling noise that the car’s interior, especially the dashboard started making just after one year of the purchase, I expected better from Ford. Besides that, I’m getting around 14-16 kmpl which is a good thing considering it is a petrol-fed car. Good bits about the Ford EcoSport are decent boot space, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, sound system, and an affordable price. And yes, the seats are comfortable enough and won’t stress your body even on long-distance rides.
