The 2019 Wrangler is available in both two-door and four-door versions, which are powered by 3.6-litre petrol V6 and new 2.2-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engines. Power is transmitted to the wheels through a new and exclusive eight-speed automatic transmission. The latest Wrangler also comes with 26 new safety features and extra standard equipment. The base model, Sport S, is equipped with a Parkview rear backup camera, Uconnect 7.0 touch screen display, Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, 7.0-inches driver information display, automatic headlamps, Push-Button start, and 17-inches alloy wheels. It is one of the most capable off-road SUV ever with 32-inches tyres, stronger axle tubes, larger brakes, two available 4x4 systems, and rugged steel skid plates. Talking about the exteriors, you get heated power mirrors that melt frost or ice for clear views and safer driving. LED headlamps provide a truly distinct look. The bundle includes LED tail lamps, fog lamps and daytime running lights on the bumper as well. If you want a unique look for your Wrangler then you can go for the Rubicon trim. It receives power-dome hood that has two hood vents that cool the motor, while high clearance bumper flares house 32 inches off-road, all-terrain tyres.
Getting inside the car, you will discover heated front seats and heated steering wheels. The leather-wrapped steering wheel also comes with handy controls for phone, voice, audio and more. Fit and finish of the car are of another level with rugged details to deliver a stunning driving experience. To feel the open air freedom, you get easily removable roof panels. Wrangler comes with 7 inches driver information digital cluster display that permits you to observe key driving data without losing focus on the road ahead. You can also keep a record of active safety and security features, vehicle speed, navigation, radio information, and other information. The infotainment module comes with fourth-generation Uconnect system that includes a pinch-to-zoom display, improved processing power and rich clarity with better resolution and brightness. Opening the hood, you get two engine options. The first being the 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine, which produces a maximum power of 280 hp and the peak torque is 347 Nm. On the other hand, the 2.2L multijet turbo diesel engine churns out 197 hp of maximum power and 450 Nm of torque. Towing capacity for both the engine remains the same at 2,495 Kg. The new diesel comes with environmental technology that has a selective catalytic reduction converter which limits nitrogen oxide emissions. Wrangler also features Selec-Trac 4x4 system that will automatically shift from 2WD to 4WD when circumstances dictate. This makes operating in rugged terrains and harsh weather secured smoother while producing excellent efficiency when four-wheel drive isn’t needed.
Wrangler is equipped with modern safety features that keep you aware of your surroundings and tested passive safety systems that will keep you protected when necessary. From high-strength steel beams to advanced front and side airbag system and vehicle stiffness, this car has got you covered. You get blind spot monitoring and rear cross path detection, which are radar-based sensors that detect other vehicles and send you adaptive alerts. Other safety features include a rear park assist system, and a rear backup camera combined with 8.4 inches touchscreen display.
