The new Nissan X-TRAIL features renewed exterior styling. It gets an expanded Nissan V-motion grille, updated headlights with LED trademark daytime running lights, and new 19 inches alloy wheels that blend to make this the most stylish family SUV yet. The special edition N-Sports comes with blacked-out roof rails, black mirror caps, smokey chrome V-motion grille, dark metallic front, and rear bumper, dark chrome front grille and 18 inches black alloy wheels. This car comes with a motion-activated tailgate that automatically opens the tailgate, by just kicking under the rear bumper without reaching for a key.
Getting inside the car, from the luxurious double-stitched leather-accented seats to the piano black and metallic trim, and the sporty flat-bottom steering wheel pulls the attention to detail everywhere. The seats have been created for maximum comfort with quick comfort heated seats and steering wheel ideal for freezing mornings. Passengers experience theatre-style seating, tilt and slide panoramic sunroof and EZ Flex second-row seats that slide and lean to provide extra legroom or extended cargo space. You will also discover a wide 7 inches touch-screen display with satellite navigation built in and hands-free Bluetooth phone and audio streaming. The base variant features 6 speakers audio system whereas the top-end trim comes with 8 speakers Bose premium audio system.
Under the hood, you get a 2L four-cylinder engine that puts out 142 hp of maximum power and 200 Nm of torque. This engine is paired to a clever Xtronic continuously variable transmission that helps you guarantee outstanding fuel economy along with amazingly constant power delivery. You get stunning ground clearance of 210 mm, which makes it capable for off-roading. Also, for getting better mileage figure, you can switch on the Eco mode. X-Trail comes with an intelligent 4x4 layout that automatically scatters up to 50% power to the rear wheels as required. For stopping things down, you get 4-wheel ventilated disc with an anti-lock braking system, which prevents the wheels from locking down on hard braking.
The X-Trail features Nissan intelligent mobility. This includes intelligent around-view monitor utilises four cameras to provide a virtual composite 360° view of your car. With selectable close-ups of the front, rear, and kerbside views, so you can receive a better aspect. Moving object detection detects objects near the vehicle and gives visual and audible alerts. Other intelligent features include cruise control, emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot warning, and rear cross traffic alert.
