The make of the cockpit is extremely professional, with customised 12.3 inches instrument cluster. It displays a varied feature like audio content, display navigation, engine and fuel information, traditional speed, and more. 

Auxiliary to the showcased features, the Z4 also has BMW Head-Up Display, Operating System 7.0, 10.25-inch touchscreen Display infotainment screen, Integrated 2DIN Audio, front and rear bombastic speakers, USB & Auxiliary Input, among other items.

The seats have also been enhanced, adorned with ‘Vernasca’ leather with an Alcantara trim, which has been finished in blue and black Contrast Stitching. Inspired from the heritage of the classic BMW 507, Aussie designer Calvin Luk has sculpted it to the point of perfection. Coming to the foremost part of this car, be it the trunk lid, unique taillights, front lights or the slightly oversized grille, everything screams class. 

A convertible evoking traditional roadster looks, its fabric top weighs even less than the alternatives like steel or aluminium. It being automatically- operated, takes a mere 10 seconds to lower or raise the roof. The good news is that this roof can be taken up or down even while driving at a speed of 50kmph.

Focusing back to the other features, Z4 has Integrated Antenna, Power Adjustable Exterior Rear View Mirror as well as Adjustable Headlights.

When driving this BMW model on the open road, it becomes an extension of the driver. The steering control is unquestionably spot on. If you are smirking just by reading this, you can smile ear to ear when you come to know its superb suspension and aerodynamics.

With a standardised manual transmission in the 20i entry-level model, BMW has still kept an extra option of 8-speed automatic mode. The Z4 model offers a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which guarantees a considerably good torque of 320Nm from 1450rpm to 4200rpm and power of 145kW, making from 4500rpm to 6500rpm.

The claimed fuel consumption figure of this base model is 6.5 litres per 100 km and hits 0-100kmph within 6.6 seconds. 

Z4 is equipped with M Sport Brakes with Adaptive M Suspension that gives a better ride as well as stops quicker than the other models.

Stepping up to the safety level, this car offers driver assistance in the form of park assist, high-beam assists, cruise control, auto emergency braking (AEB), Driving Assistant' package, and more.

As per the claims by BMW, which to some extent seems to be quite true, Z4 is quite sportier than the previous 2 generation models. It is less of a sport and more of a roadster car but knows how to appease the driver.
