The SUV height of the Holden Trax allows you to get a wide view of the road. The stylish and high-tech enabled interiors, stitched dashboard, and steering wheels display a unique theme. Unlike its rivals, which leverage buyers' interest by keeping base grade empty from inside, Holden Trax promises to keep it practically identical in every grade. And, standards features include a 7-inch colour touchscreen integrated with the navigation system and premium 6-speaker speakers, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Holden MyLink infotainment system, and Bluetooth audio function. Plus, the front seats are power-adjustable, and the driver seat can be adjusted in 6-ways, whereas front passenger’s seat can be adjusted in 4-ways. Also, for the comfort of the second-row passengers, there’s height-adjustable seat headrest, and power windows that come with express down features for the front and rear passengers. 

From the front, the exterior design of Holden Trax reflects an appealing instance. The all-new Trax carries the most impressive appearance compared to its previous version. The front face wears the Chevrolet themed grills that harmonise perfectly with standard auto headlamps and LED Daytime Running Lights. On the sides, the aggressive style carries over by body cuts finished on the lower end of the doors. The body of Trax gets broader in the rear with LED taillights fitted on the wider sides that proffer it a dynamic and bold design and further enhances its on-road presence. However, you’ll not get LED headlamps in any grade of the Trax, instead Trax comes standard with halogen projector headlamps. Moreover, the base grade LS arrives with 17-inch alloy wheels, and the other two LT & LTZ appear with standard18-inch alloy wheels. 

Holden Trax being a sub-compact SUV maintains good height that’s a driving factor in ensuring the comfortable ride quality. The agile electric power handling of the Trax makes it easy for you to manoeuvre the vehicle in choked roads and tight parking spaces. It’s equipped with many features that make it easy to ride with fun without compromising with harsh road conditions. Like, the Electronic Stability Control program and Traction Control System balances the torque and acceleration to the required wheel and keeps the Trax in balanced motion. Holden Trax is offered in two engine and transmission options. Under the hood, the base grade LS is powered by the 1.8L 4-cylinder petrol engine that’s mated with 5-speed manual transmission. This engine can create the maximum power of 175 Nm at 3800 rpm and torque of 103 kW at 6300 rpm. The LS grade can also be mated with 1.4L 4-cylinder iTi turbo petrol engine, it comes mated with a 6-speed automatic transmission with Active Select. This engine can churn out a maximum power of 103 kW at 4900 rpm and torque of 200 Nm at 1850 rpm. The automatic gearbox ensures the swift delivery of power to the wheels without any glitch. The other two grades LT and LTZ comes standard with the 1.4L engine and gives an amazing combined fuel-efficiency of 6.7L/100km.

Holden Trax is a solid and strong compact SUV, it has earned the 5-star rating from ANCAP. The firm and well-designed body structure of the Trax comes fitted with six airbags- front and side airbags for driver and passenger, and full-length curtain airbags that stretch to the second row and secure the passengers from getting direct impact in case of collision. While active safety features like Brake Assist prevents the vehicle from a mishap when it senses the need to apply instant brakes. And, Anti-lock Brake System in the Trax hinders the wheels from skidding and keeps the vehicle on the right path. Also, the braking capacity further magnifies with the front and rear disc brakes. However, the base grade LS comes with front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. 

Holden Trax is a compact SUV with sharp design and comfortable interiors. It delivers optimum power with the 1.4L turbocharged engine while maintaining the fuel-efficiency of 6.7L/100Km. However, it runs on premium petrol 95RON instead of 91RON, and that might add cost to your pocket. But, when it comes to the interior, and safety features, Trax offers many standard features from the base grade, and the same is not the case with its rivals like Mazda CX-3 and Mitsubishi ASX.
